How It Works
- Click “Sign in with Xero” on the login page
- Authenticate with your Xero account
- Authorize Coincile to access your identity

Supported Login Methods
Coincile now supports multiple authentication methods:

Account Linking
Already have a Coincile account? You can link your Xero identity to your existing account:
- Sign in with your email/password
- Go to Account Settings → Connected Accounts
- Click “Link Xero Account”
- Authorize with Xero
After linking, you can use either method to sign in.
Security
OAuth 2.0 Standard
We use industry-standard OAuth 2.0 with OpenID Connect for secure authentication.
No Password Storage
Xero handles all authentication-we never see or store your Xero password.
Email Verification
Xero verifies email addresses, ensuring account security.
2FA Support
If you have two-factor authentication enabled on your Xero account, it applies when signing into Coincile too.

Getting Started
New Users
- Go to app.coincile.io
- Click “Sign in with Xero” on the signup page
- Authorize Coincile
- Start using Coincile immediately
Existing Users
- Log in to Coincile with your current credentials
- Navigate to Account Settings
- Click “Link Xero Account” under Connected Accounts
- Next time, sign in with Xero
